Robert Knopf is the Senior Vice President of Quadrangle Development Corporation.

As Senior Vice President, Mr. Knopf, who has been with the company for over 30 years, is in charge of the Development Department. He is responsible for establishing development concepts, determining feasibility, obtaining government approvals, budgeting, design, construction, and tenant build-out on all Quadrangle projects.

Mr. Knopf supervises a team of project managers with expertise in design, financial analysis, engineering, and construction. Under his guidance, the team has been responsible for the development of over 50 projects including 36 office buildings, over 4,000 hotel rooms and 2,500 residential units.

Thirty-eight of the projects have been developed from the ground up and include such noteworthy mixed-use projects like National Place, Washington Center, Towers Crescent, Quince Orchard Park and the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort.

Mr. Knopf received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the American University. His major concentration was in real estate and finance. Following graduation, he held positions in construction management for general contractors and development firms in the Washington, D.C. area before joining Quadrangle.
