Prior to her position as Corporate Vice President at Quadrangle, Ms. Haerle was Vice President of Leasing for Quadrangle. During her 12 years in this position, she oversaw the leasing of the company’s entire office portfolio and actively negotiated millions of square feet of leases on behalf of the owners.
Ms. Haerle was previously employed by Prudential Realty Group, where she had responsibility for the performance of a diversified real estate investment portfolio valued at over $250-million. She managed the leasing of properties through outside brokers and also oversaw the operating and capital expenditures of properties through contract property management firms.
Prior to Prudential, Ms. Haerle was at Laventhol & Horwath, where she performed feasibility studies for hotel development for a variety of clients including the original feasibility study for the Grand Hyatt Hotel, an 888-room hotel developed by and still owned by Quadrangle affiliates. She conducted market research, obtained comparables and statistics, developed computer programs to analyze conditions and projected the economic feasibility of proposed hotels.
Ms. Haerle holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major concentration in fine arts and economics from St. Lawrence University. She has served on the Board of CREW-Washington, DC (Commercial Real Estate Women) for several years; in 2008 she served as President of the organization. Helen received CREW DC’s Impact Award (it’s lifetime achievement award) in 2010. Helen has spoken before numerous industry organizations including CREW DC, Trendlines, NAIOP, Real Estate Lenders Association and RealShare.
